Since the beginning, PDM&FC have considered of particular importance the research and development fields. This way, PDM&FC technologies usualy present a a high level of innovation, being some results presented in international conferences. 

The need for innovation and the obtained results did drive the creation of strong relationships with international universities. We can refer Instituto Superior Tecnico in Portugal,  University of Tsukuba in Japan, and, University of California in USA.

PDM&FC usually cooperate with universities on the development of innovation studies and in final training of graduate, master and PhD students.

In the same fashion and in order to promote the qualification of our human resources, we're counting with the support of "Agência da Inovação", through it's support programs recruiting highly qualified (masters and PhD) human resources in companies to preform tasks that demand autonomy, investigation and development capacities, with the purpose of promoting innovation and increase companies competitiveness.
