I*Tea

I*Tea is an application server for web, developed by the PDM&FC. Its main characteristics are the fact of being independent of the platform (total written in Java), scalable, of high performance, robust and demand reduced resources of the hardware.

Being platform independent, it can be used in any development environment. It can really be used simultaneously in different platforms. This way companies can use I*Tea as an integration tool for heterogeneous environments.

I*Tea application server assure the possibility to scale, this way system can go side by side with the growth of total simultaneous users. Using a load-balancing mechanism, the total load can be automatic distributed by several machines that composes the load-balancing cluster. To increase the overall system performance, it only necessary to add more machines to the load-balancing cluster.

I*Tea application server allow the faster development of web based applications than conventional tools. For this contribute the existence of code libraries can be used to solve the most frequent programming problems, and the inner Tea language support.

I*Tea application server can run in an hardware platform with few resources, like RAM, hard disk, clock frequency. Concurrent products in the market force the client to buy high performance hardware with very high buying costs.

Even so I*Tea application server has a cost almost 10 times less then equivalent products.
