Maestro 2

Maestro2 is a technology used in the production of network cards ad switches for high performance clusters networks. This kind of networks is fundamental in research institutions like CERN, NASA, or in big companies with a developed technological infrastructure like financial institutions, state institutions, telecom institutions, among others.

Using Maestro2 technology it was demonstrated that the performance of network cards and switches developed by PDM&FC was very high with small costs.

Maestro2 technology was developed with cooperation of several international universities and the algorithms used to obtain the performance increase were already patent.

Actually Maestro2 technology is being used in a project involving six universities, around the word, to demonstrate the GRID applicability, considered the Internet next step by several researchers.
